Agree. But the trick is to bring a lightweight, low-drag EV while avoiding the ‘small car’ stigma. There is one that not only combines eco-friendly car travel, safety and comfort for three, but that also brings the option of autonomous (self-driving) much closer. Same considerations as you made them (and more).
