Didn’t Shakespeare say: “To be or not to be, that is the question”? Make that “To be or not to be, that is the outcome”. We tend to forget that insignificant events like the chauffeur of Austrian crown prince Franz Ferdinand putting the limo in reverse after driving into a closed off street, made it possible for Gavrilo Princip to assassinate Ferdinand, which started WW1. And since WW2 emanated from WW1… One might argue that we live in a particularly violent (parallel) universe. The more reason to take care of the delicate balance on this planet, not seek disturbance for selfish (political) motives.
