Heat good?... It is by far the best heist movie ever made. And probably will be for a very long time. The truly great films will never see anything alike. That’s why they’re the greatest. There is so much irony, tragedy and ultimately self-destruction in Heat. The bad outcome has Neil McCauley (played by De Niro) to thank himself for. One look at a police car patrolling and gone was ("anyone want some pie?") Waingro. Who hired him in the 1st place? From then on, the crew was doomed to fail. I am a huge fan of the movie, athough Pacino has more moments to truly shine as an actor. Nonetheless, De Niro has always been the #1 actor IMO. Pacino never makes me laugh. De Niro is also great at comedy; he can be hilarious. One of my favorite scenes is from Meet The Parents. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VPkPuRBR3H8
