I can understand that AV developers keep pitching their wishful engineering to satisfy investors and shareholders. It' s a different thing when writers and 'journalists' start to rehash old pitches. We are still a very long way from Level 5 Autonomous. It will probably require some sort of electronic overlay monitoring vehicle movements. Toyota is already speculating that this will need to happen in order to fulfill expectations.
