I would hardly call Elon Musk an environmental champion. Most Teslas produce more greenhouse gasses than let’s say a Fiat 500 or Mini. The zero emission ‘juice’ a Tesla fills up with is fine, but the bulk of all electricity is still generated by burning fossil fuels, over 60 percent in the U.S., over 85 percent, I am ashamed to say, in the country where I reside, the Netherlands. Hence, a guy who rather spends a billion times more on going to Mars than on saving Mothership Earth, can hardly be called a green entrepreneur.
