Idiots at Dyson, maker of those clever, cordless vacuum cleaners, are in the process of bringing a big MPV/SUV like electric car. Seats seven. Mind you, the average personal trip consists of 1.1 person during the commute, and 1.6 in other cases. With ride-hailing (Uber etc.) it is 1.2 passenger. Roads are completely clogged up by cars with enough capacity to take the whole family on a trip. The EV in particular will benefit from a shrink-to-fit demand setup.
