If there is one thing that never ceases to amaze the rest of the world, it is the ‘militarization’ of the police in the U.S. Up to the point that one might say that the military is already being deployed against its citizens. What happened to “To Serve and Protect”? And should U.S. police get free military equipment? Protests revive debate.
