I'm afraid that we will have to live with people being polarized. With social media, the cat has come out of the bag, the lid of Pandora's box taken off for good. IMO, the Trump phenomenon would not have been possible without social media. Not only because they mobilized his following, but also because of Trump's own excessive use of them. We can only try to tone down the debate. Getting rid of Trump would be of great help. Next comes social media living up to their responsibilities.
