Interesting to read about how (let’s call them) ‘creators’ are supposed to pitch VC companies. With so many of them out there (VC) investing in what they have been reading collectively about what will be next, there is a huge risk of never being able to make good on the investment. Having a lot of money is no guarantee that problems will be solved. As a matter of fact, too much capital can lead to wishful engineering. Interestingly, people flock to the same city that has given us the Gold Rush and now Silicon Valley: San Francisco. Albeit that SV can come across as more of a pyramid scheme than a motor of true innovations. I reckon that creators and capitalists need to try new ‘antennas’ so to speak, to look out for each other. Because there is so much out there that still needs addressing. Does author Scott Kupor consider Medium an antenna?
