Timing = everything. Usually there’s one person who has an idea or certain proposition. Having too many people involved in that 'protostage' may well waterdown the idea for the sake of keeping people involved happy. Best for that single person is to have his idea recognized by experts, if possible, establish its IP, then find the right business environment before a company is founded and VC is sought. This means doing a lot of research to track down the right kindred spirits. Takes time, a lot of time. I am a great example of this.
