Last week I heard a Canadian trucker do a Mel Gibson "Freedom!" cris de coeur on TV, at the same time looking at the Dutch interviewer as if he was saying: doesn't that sound familiar? Why in heaven's sake has brainless stupidity gotten so out of hand, that it can bring society and the economy to a standstill, even choose presidents?
