Looking forward to seeing the film. Good to see that Jonathan mentions the reality-distorting, mind-bending nature of many Silicon Valley companies — “reality is what we make it to be”. This has put a lot of investors, small and institutional, on the wrong foot already. This not only stretches out to startups that never materialized, but also to the billion-dollar companies that still count on becoming profitable with (driverless) ride-hailing, for instance. The Theranos case came down to arrogance of course, Holmes thinking that she can outsmart people.
