Some say that once a 2.2 ton weighing EV is rolling, its weight does not matter as much as does its aerodynamic efficiency. Plus the regenerative braking will be able to recuperate a great portion of its forward momentum. Others say that efficiency (under comparable driving conditions) always starts with having to set in motion more or less vehicle mass. Plus stop and go commuter traffic is not that advantageous for regenerative braking. Cheers, Ralph
