THE problem is that carmakers tend to focus on bigger EVs, because there's more money to be made with them. The whole truck and SUV trend is made worse by having them run on batteries that weigh up to 1500 -1800 lb! To offset batteries' downside of low energy density, we need to make EVs smaller.
