There could have been. As a matter of fact, I’m convinced that Steve Jobs, who reportedly showed considerable interest in what constitutes a consumer market that is at least 50 times bigger (in terms of consumer spending) than the iPhone's, would have already brought a Smart-Mobility App(liance). Besides replacing the gasoline engine for electric drive, TESLA never came to reformatting the electric car. You’d be surprised how everything in personal mobility is size-related, particularly the things we want: affordable electro-mobility, more safety, arrive on time at our destination… self-driving. APPLE disrupted the whole Personal Communication industry with its smartphone. Ever since, companies (Apple incl.) have been looking for ‘the next big thing’. Is it possible to bring something that would create the same sort of buzz and disruption, but then for the infinitely larger market of personal mobility? I think so. Personal Mobility needs a similar smart device: lean, clean, green, and automated when you want it to be. Cheers, Ralph
