Transit is still a very physical process. Size of the transport mode should fit demand and the occasion, it is that simple. Hate to see people yapping that Public Transport will solve a lot. Maybe so during commuting hours, but outside those having a bus carry just a few people is such a waste of space, hardware and financial resources, worse if this happens in a dedicated bus lane, with battery drive. There’s a lot that can be shared, you got that right: modalities, public space, resources. PT and TNCs ought to work together.
