You live well-organized and democratically represented in Massachusets. The majority doesn't. The concern isn't about how well (or not) democracy is institutionalized top to bottom in the U.S., it is about how many Americans no longer feel represented, don't care about democracy, and how Trump, more popular than Biden, feeds off those sentiments. I am talking about Americans that go for the school boards, intimidate elected officials, don't accept the outcomes of the judicial system, can easily be motivated and mobilized to go for the jugular of American democracy, like on Jan 6th 2021.
