Yup, the necessary energy transition might be a generational thing, even by definition, since it goes against vested interests, not only of well-established companies, but also of older generations who make a living by working for those companies. Interestingly, it will also be a struggle between inward-looking youngsters, primarily interested in their smartphones, social media and what will earn them an income… and outward-looking youth who realize the sheer existential threat of Global Warming.
